Hi, it's Joe from Pool Marketing again. One of my favorite games I enjoy playing with my family while traveling is trying to figure out how much a home costs. We live in a very nice neighborhood in El Dorado Hills and there are mansions and mega homes literally all over the place. A quick zillow search will tell you what any home in the area sells for, but it's still a fun guestimating game to play while driving sometimes.
Today I thought I'd play that game with you by posting some photos of some truly remarkable and over the top pools that must cost a fortune. The price tags are a secret, not even I know what they cost - but let's play a guessing game and I'll throw out my best guestimate, you can tell me in the comments whether I'm off by a country mile. I think it's fair to say that the region where the pool construction occured can play a big determining factor on the overall price tag of the pool.
Here are 3 over the top pools for our game today, give it your best shot. Think about how much does it cost to install an inground pool where you live and try and come up with your best pool estimate on what it would cost to hire a pool contractor to build one of these for you.
#1 - Natural Waterfall Pool - I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess $250,000 on this one.
#2 - Swim Up Bar With Perimeter Overflow - I'm gonna say this is an easy $200k just from what I can see in the photo.
#3 Lazy River with sunken firepit island, raised spa and waterslide - all that LED lighting must be a fortune. I asked an electrician near me and he agrees. I'm going to say $250k all day
I welcome your guestimates in the comments below.
