Incorporating Outdoor Living Into The Pool Area
Some of the most stunning pool concepts that blow my hair back this year incorporate an outdoor living area directly into the pool area. This one fine specimen is a beautiful luxury pool and incorporates a swimup bar seated handsomely next to an outdoor fireplace.
The Outdoor Fireplace & Pergola are the perfect combination for the pool area
With dual sheer descents on either side of the pool this is literally the perfect backdrop for entertaining family and friends. I love the way the pergola and fireplace creates an essence of permenance in this outdoor living space. The pool builder did a great job here, truly one of the best pool designs I've seen this summer, but we're just getting started.
A modern pool design for a modern home
This is a simple yet elegant custom pool is the perfect backdrop for this modern home. I love how the pool contractors paid special attention to creating an atmosphere that is perfect for night time entertainment. Look at this backyard, it's like a disco club in the pool. The led lights are so bright and the laminar jets do a perfect job of creating an air of sophistication to this luxury inground pool. A spill over spa with contrasting colored LED brings it all home for me. This is truly one sophisticated looking backyard. This photo looks like it belongs on the cover of Pool Magazine.
Million Dollar Pools - Tropical Paradise Pool
This next example is simply one for the record books as far as I'm concerned. I can only imagine how much a lazy river costs at this scale. Multiple levels of pool area, spa areas all tastefully illuminated to create the ultimate backyard resort. This lucky homeowner must have hired one of the best pool contractors in the country to build this masterpiece and it certainly shows. If I had to take a crack at estimating with this pool costs to build - i'd say upwards of $500,000 all in.
That's just a guestimate with all the goodies I see here. The pool designers went all out on this one and I wouldn't be suprised if it's double that figure because we can only see one angle of the shot. The centerpiece and money shot of this photo for me is that little landscaped island in the middle of the lazy river. Those are baby palm trees in the shot and they grow an average of 2 feet every year. That's going to be one shaded tropical little paradise.
